It's difficult being a first time mummy !!!

The weight don't go away after a child!
No one prepared me for this. My figure just went out so much, I avoid my mirror.
The full length at home which I loved so much before, I feel like covering it up.
Nothing fits me. I hated maternity clothes I do. It's not cute.
I looked like a whale, trouble is I still do!

My skin is different. The softness is gone, now it's blotchy & looks disgusting.
Time to get back in shape. I am miserable!

Should I go on a diet? Which diet? Only veg & fruits diet? But fruits are sweet & veg cant quench my hunger, I need the energy for the baby! Taking care of her is so tough.
I need a maid. But she's not here yet!!!!! And all the horrid stories i hear about some maids beating & pinching babies......
Exercise, gym? no time to hit the gym.....
I need a facial NOW!!!

    1. Don't beat yourself up. All of us have thought of that from time to time. Being a mum is very stressful - it's only natural to have these tots sometimes. Jia You!

    2. What Mabel said is true, don't worry too much, we are all human.
Just try your best. I felt the same way for my first kid. Even when the 2nd came along, I do have these thoughts too. But they quickly disappear as well. I love my kids :)

  5. Ok if you are thinking whether will you make a good mum, here's what you can do. A friend suggest that to me & I tot, hmmm..... not such a bad idea:))
She said why don't you get puppy & take care of it. Having a child is something like that ...lol... If you cant even take care of a pup, then forget about the kid ....lol....

    1. wow... I think a baby is quite different- much much more difficult then taking care of puppies.

    2. That's what I meant. Puppy is already easier but if one cant even handle that..... better don't have a kid. Like they say "it takes a village to raise a kid !"

  6. Now you know why most families started hiring maids when they have a new born- you really need all the help you can get !

    1. With new borns it's good to hire experienced maids, or at least those with a few children of their own. Those young ones ,who are the youngest in their family- stay away from them!

    2. Yes agree, many maids actually do not need to do any house work at home since they are the youngest. They practically know nothing, & it's time consuming to teach.
