I love my baby so much!!!

A note to my baby:

She has magic in her eyes. Do you see it?  The wealth of possibilities just bubbling over?  She believes absolutely anything is possible.  She thinks I can do anything….and is just beginning to question if I will be around forever.She makes me want to wear a cape, to sweep her away from any tough situation, to wrap her in my arms and keep her safe. Everyday.It sounds so trite to say that the last 4 years have been blinked away, but it most definitely feels as though they have.  I blinked and she was born.  I blinked and she could walk.  I turned around to cook dinner and she was talking.  I chit chat with some friends and she could sing, turn a cartwheel (well…sort of) and swim.  I ran to the super mart and she is up and started play school.

Sigh..... I love my baby so much!!!

My Valentines Gift

After my last post, my hubby had felt the need to "support " his views of why no bb pictures online, by explaining to the whole family. Everyone is 'forced' to take sides. His mum of course was on his side - as always.

She even said & I translate: Don't be a crazy girl & follow what others do & paste bb's pics everywhere. I don't want bad things to happen to her :((  If you have to, why don't you paste your pet's pics?

I told my friend about that outburst & she almost died laughing, why? Because I just adopted a pet tortoise from a colleague who has been retrenched. Can you imagine a blog with pictures of my pet tortoise Booze ?

Why I haven't flood my blog with my Baby's pictures!

I have wanted to flood this blog with my babe's pictures from day one BUT my husband refuse to let me do that! I don't know why guys are like that. He said that's not because he don't love her enough, he don't want this kind of exposure for our babe. Who knows what these pictures will lead to?

I was like thinking ...WHAT ???? What can it lead to? Is not like we are Brat Pitt & Angelina Jolin. Anyway, I've spent so much time arguing with him over this, I give up. My friends said just put it up, he wont know. Well she's wrong! He actually come & check on my blog once a while to see what I'm doing. Well maybe when she's older he'll change his mind :((

My precious child is very popular ...haha... Everyone loves her, she's so cute. So I do get lots of questions from childless couples, singles also, about how to get ready for a first child. Yes , having a cute kid makes you an expert all of a sudden :)

Anyway if you are interested, that's what I told some friends.
If you are not the maternal kind, please.......go slow.
Get a plant first ... LOL,
then if that goes well, get a pet.
If you pass both the test, then you can consider having a kid.

The plaguing Question revisited - Is it time for a second baby??? .... thinking......maybe.....

Sometimes I imagine what the future would be like.…..

I see us sitting in a restaurant maybe or MacDonalds for breakfast,

Watching my children bonding perfectly with each other, only siblings can

(There are 2 in my fantasy).

They are laughing &we are all happy.

I’ve been thinking like that a lot lately.

My baby has grown so much & is pretty independent as children get.

The magical 1st year…. Everyone seems to reminisce about their baby not being so little anymore.

Along with planning another birthday party and looking at old photos.

The ever revolving question seems to come into play

“Do we want another baby?” “And if so, When????”

My husband and I have been asked this question numerous times. By friends, family and complete strangers.

Right now I can safely say that myself and my husband,

Stand carefully on the harbor of, “We Positively Do Not Know!” That’s right folks, we are absolutely undecided on this plaguing question.

Let me lend some insight as to why….

There are so many things to consider in this choice.

Before it's like a firm NO but my stand is softening...haha...

See, my baby is so cute my husband would definitely want another :)

Gelyn Ong, would my baby be like her one day? I Wish !!!!

Before I was never too interested in what kids do. But after having mine, I'm like totally different. I love reading news about special kids & wonder will my precious one be like them when she grows older.

One Very Special & Talented kid that I hope my baby will be like is our very own Singapore's Gelyn Ong. She's only like 10 years old & she has such raw talent in art. Below are some of her paintings.

Can you believe a kid painted these? Arent they just beautiful???? Ahhhh........ her parents would be so proud of her. I know I would be :))
