The Cucumber incident
I ask my mother-in-law to baby sit my baby while I run some errands. When I got back, I was shocked that the whole house is full of cucumbers laying everywhere & she was in the bathroom! Thought she had gone NUTS ! Quickly grab my baby was afraid she'll eat those on the floor. Yes there were slices of cucumber even on the floor & at corners ! I just can't imagine what had happened. I was only gone for 3-4 hours. Quickly took pics & text my hubby & told him his mum has gone bonkers.
I think he was shock too & quickly called her. She finally came out from the bathroom & glared at me. She went something like this : " What's the big deal. Didn't you know cucumbers keeps the ants away? Look at your place, so dirty, with so many ants everywhere. They'll bite Baby & make her sick. I'm just trying to help! "
I seriously have never heard of that before. Anyway I told her, Baby might just pick the cucumbers up & eat it! And she went, "Baby is so smart, you think she'll do something like that?" I give up! Below is the brochure she saw from SP services, this month. She ask me to blame them! Can you believe that??

My Baby Girl going to be a doctor someday???
We've joked often that Baby Girl has a future in the medical field. Last night just proves it. The hubby starting cussing loudly and I knew something
was wrong. He had sliced open his finger while slicing an apple for us.
He knew to cover it quickly to keep the blood from my squeamish self. I told BB Girl to stay put, thinking she would freak out if she saw the blood or saw that he was hurt. I went to check on him to see if he needed stitches. BB Girl than ran to her room to get BoBo ( her favorite stuff toy ) to give to my hubby to console him, then went into doctor/nurse mode.
After determining that he didn't need stitches, and trying to hide the fact that I was feeling squeamish and light headed from seeing the cut, BB Girl helped my hubby get patched up. She got the band aides, and helped bandage him up. She even pick up some tissue stained with blood that we've accidentally dropped on the floor, & threw it in the bin.
She's all like, blood, no big deal, I've had worse. Seriously, this child is tough as nails.
(I so wish I had thought to get my camera out to capture this, but I was too busy trying not to pass out).
